Prayers: Lately, many people have been asking me to share prayers with them. Other's have been asking me to send them copies of prayers that they can share with their family and friends, or peacefully meditate on alone. Here are a couple of prayers, or meditations, that I like … Please feel free to change or personalise them to suit you best. It is so important to feel connected to the words you are focusing on. I recommend changing and personalising them. It seems to me that the more effort we put into personalising them, the more energy and intent and purpose they carry and therefore the more 'real' and powerful they become. So please do swap out words such as God - for Creator, Goddess or Divine Spirit, or whatever you believe. Also add to the prayer anything you wish to focus on or that is important to you. Psychic Connection – Connecting to Your Spirit Guides

I personally am very guilty of not making enough time to meditate. When I do it regularly I feel amazing and refreshed and more energetic. I think the most important thing is to set yourself a routine of meditation and to really honour that time you have allocated for yourself and your connection to the universe. Yes it’s true, meditating can be a bit of a challenge at first, I definitely find it tough when I am starting out. To me its a bit like going for a run, it takes time to get fit for this activity, you have to build up your meditation muscle, but it does get easier and it does become more enjoyable… just like physical exercise does. So to begin with, commit to meditating 20-60 minutes, 6-7 times a week, for two weeks. You’re not allowed to give up before the 2 weeks is out!! To begin, find a quiet comfortable area that is warm, and lie down. You should be on your back with your arms straight out beside you, hands relaxed, palms upwards. Close your eyes and picture your face. Hold on to this image of yourself. Ask spirit to come forward; “Dear guides, please come and share this time with me, I am here and I am waiting for you,” or whichever words seem natural to you.

Happiness is a wonderful state to be in, but none of us feel that way all the time. A lot of the time we experience anxiety and depression too. I think it's really useful to decide to see personal resilience as the key to getting thru these harder times. To see the opposite of "happiness" as resilience, not depression, is personally empowering. Resilience: your ability to cope and grow with life's challenges. Emotional resilience needs to be practiced, it is not necessarily your foundational belief. But invest in it and you will see how it begins to build a protective layer of confidence and self-belief around you, one that allows you to believe in you; and also assists in safeguarding you from depressive or potentially overwhelming experiences. Boosting your ability to be resilient are these key practices: 1. Sleep Sleep is crucial for people and I really think we tend to underestimate its importance, thinking that we can all get by with minimal downtime these days.
