What is a Ouija board?
If you’ve never seen or heard about a Ouija board until now, you will find everything you need to know about it in this article.
It’s basically a wooden flat surface on which there are letters from A to Z, numbers from 0 to 9, and the symbols of the Sun and the Moon. A “planchette” is used for communication, meaning that through this device, people get answers to the questions they ask.
Back in the 1920s, people used these boards as a way to contact the dead. There’s not much evidence that this board is the way to do it, other than people’s experiences and confessions.
But if you want to try it out for yourself, then you need to know how to use it the right way.

How to use a Ouija board
First of all, you need to know that in order to use the board, you need another person. After you picked your partner in crime, here is what you need to do next:
The atmosphere – Turn off the TV, turn off your phones, and also make sure that there aren’t going to be any distractions during the session. You need to be fully aware and present when using the board. Any interruption can cause negative energy to accumulate.
Setting – It’s recommended that you and your partner face each other with your knees touching, and that you place the board on your laps. If it’s possible, don’t use a table.
The medium – One of you has to be the one who will formally ask the questions. Decide which one of you is going to do that.
The planchette – Now, you and your partner can go ahead and place your fingers (all 10 of them) on the planchette. Don’t press on it too tightly. Do it gently.
Ask a question – It’s important you ask the question after you’ve placed your fingers on the planchette. The first question you ask should be a simple one that will require a “Yes” or “No” answer.
Be patient – If it’s your first time doing this, don’t expect the board to answer you right away. Instead, have patience and be polite. You can even say something that will encourage it to “speak” to you.
Watch the planchette move – This is probably one of the most exciting aspects of using a Ouija board: The fact that you get to see it move without you or your partner doing anything. Sometimes, it can move very quickly, while other times it can be very slow. Whatever it does, don’t try to influence its movement.
Say goodbye – After you’re done asking the spirit questions, it’s essential to say goodbye by using the board. The board will usually have the word “Goodbye” written in a corner, so your fingers need to sweep the planchette over it.
Ouija boards are not for everyone
Some people are truly scared when they hear about these boards even though they don’t have any reason to feel that way.
If you’re one of those people, but you still want to receive some answers from someone who was close to you, you can contact me to have a private psychic session.
